Seeger Weiss LLP is investigating claims for a potential class action regarding Cingular Wireless and AT&T. These claims allege that Cingular changed AT&T?s cellular phone network, requiring AT&T?s cellular phone customers to purchase more expensive cell phone plans or new equipment. In some instances AT&T cell phone customers were charged an $18 fee to "transfer" or "upgrade" to Cingular. Customers that did not wish to pay additional fees or continue service with Cingular, were charged an "early termination fee" of $175.
