Seeger Weiss LLP is currently investigating for a potential class action claims relating to lithium-ion batteries in laptops or computer notebooks. On August 15, 2006, Dell issued a recall for 4.1 million lithium-ion batteries because of a possibility that these batteries could overheat and catch fire.

Other computers with Sony lithium-ion batteries might develop similar problems in the future.
