Dietary Supplements Harbor Potentially Dangerous Steroids
Dietary supplements are commonly used by athletes and bodybuilders to enhance recuperation and ensure maximum benifit from strenuous training regimens. Many companies make dietary supplements claiming to enhance training gains using 'all natural' ingredients, but other companies have crossed the line between making a dietary suppliment, and selling illegal steroids by selling dietary supplements marketed as having "steroid like" ingredients. The FDA has issued a warning to American Cellular Laboratories, Inc., manufacturers of TREN-Xtreme, MASS Xtreme, ESTRO Xtreme, AH-89-Xtreme, HMG Xtreme, MMA-3 Xtreme, VNS-9 Xtreme, and TT-40-Xtreme for the inclusion of synthetic steroids. Steroids are considered harmful to the liver and kidneys, and other body systems. The synthetic steroids included in these formulas are really drugs that have not been tested for safety or effectiveness by the FDA.
