Pavilion Elite Crashes and Problems
Hewlett Packard, or HP is the largest computer manufacturer in the world. They produce a wide variety of PC's ranging from small net-books to large business servers. Recently, HP began selling high performance desktop computers aimed at enthusiasts, and PC gamers, which employ Intel's new "Core i7" processors. The Core i7 line of processors are some of the most expensive cpu's that Intel manufactures, and are also considered the enthusiasts' choice for processors. The Core i7 line of cpu's were only recently released for sale, and their design is a radical departure from the more common "Core 2" processors that have been on sale for several years. Several of HP's Pavilion Elite desktop computers are sold with Core i7 processors, and pricing starts just under $1000.00. Unfortunately for many consumers who have purchased these Core i7 Pavilion computers they are unreliable, frequently crashing, displaying the dreaded blue-screen of death ("BSOD") for no apparent reason.
Pavilion Elite Motherboard Failures
Many purchasers of HP Pavilion Elite computers with Core i7 processors have experienced random crashes, crashes after booting, BSOD's, and other computer malfunctions. Fault may lie in the motherboard of the HP Pavilion Elite computers which are having these problems. Consumers report returning their HP Elite's within a short time after purchase, and may experience the same problems even after replacing the computer for a totally new one.
