Accident Raises Safety Concerns About Chinese Tires
On June 26, 2007, the Wall Street Journal reported that a fatal car accident in Pennsylvania has stirred concerns about Chinese-made tires used in the U.S. Tires in question were sold under the brand names Westlake, Telluride, Compass and YKS in a range of sizes used on sport-utility vehicles, pickups and other light trucks.
