ReNu with MoistureLoc Withdrawn from Market

ReNu with MoistureLoc, a popular product manufactured by Bausch & Lomb, is used for the daily cleaning and disinfection of contact lenses. Recently, Bausch & Lomb voluntarily stopped shipments of its ReNu with MoistureLoc solution and asked retailers in the United States to remove any ReNu with MoistureLoc that was manufactured in its U.S. plant in South Carolina from their shelves, after the product was linked to reports of Fusarium keratitis. Fusarium keratitis is a fungal eye infection that can scar the cornea and lead to blindness if it is not properly treated.
